Thomas McLauglin

Attorney McLauglin is an experienced trial lawyer with a strong background in both civil and criminal litigation. After devoting a year to the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC), working as a paralegal for a non-profit organization providing legal aid, Attorney McLaughlin went on to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law continuing this pursuit of social justice working at the Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic. After admittance to the Connecticut Bar in 2007, he was with the law firm of Kahn & Associates, LLC. Attorney McLaughlin also served as a Deputy Assistant State’s Attorney for the Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice, prosecuting criminal violations. Attorney McLaughlin’s probate experience includes serving the New Haven Probate Court as a court appointed probate attorney.

In 2010, he joined the Law Offices of Mark Gilcreast where he worked as a trial attorney in the defense and litigation of property and casualty claims. Attorney McLaughlin has a long history of obtaining favorable settlements and judgments for his clients. His focus at Cloutier & Cassella, LLC is on litigation concentrating on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation and criminal defense.
